About This Role

Support Bally's Casino Cafe and Grill by preparing menu items and ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety. This role involves estimating production needs, checking food quality, and maintaining kitchen sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items across all property venues with expertise
• Estimate daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met
• Assist with food delivery check-in for quality and quantity
• Ensure proper freezer and stock labeling and rotation on food items/ingredients
• Utilize and follow all standardized recipes
• Adhere to all food safety procedures and guidelines
• Open shifts and prepare the venue for planned volumes
• Coordinate daily tasks with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef
• Cover off-days for Executive Chef/Sous Chef
• Maintain effective communication and a secure, friendly working environment
• Follow instructions and recommendations from superiors to complete daily tasks
• Lift and move 40-50 pounds
• Work required shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Maintain and set sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards
• Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
• Responsible for cashier responsibilities, if assigned to a mobile/QSR outlet

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous work experience in a professional kitchen
• Advanced knife skills
• Knowledge of all kitchen equipment usage, kitchen safety, and etiquette
• Emphasis on a high level of guest service

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous work experience in a professional kitchen is a must; one plus years of experience in food service environment preferred.
