About This Role

The Cook will accurately and efficiently fulfill prep lists, tasks, and food preparation for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events. This role ensures kitchen organization and cleanliness, following safety and food safety guidelines to provide high-quality food service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently fulfill prep lists, tasks, and food preparation for various meal periods and catered events
• Ensure kitchen organization and cleanliness, providing a safe environment for all employees and guests
• Adhere to Workplace Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, and internal audit guidelines, policies, and SOPs daily
• Work safely with large volume culinary equipment including slicer, large mixer, food processors, blenders, and chopper
• Clock in and out for workday and during breaks
• Provide the highest quality of service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
• Utilize food preparation procedures in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local guidelines and regulations
• Execute NetMenu recipe preparation of food items as directed by production sheets and/or LC, SC, or Executive Chef
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment, following ISS/Guckenheimer and government regulatory rules
• Notify management of ingredient discrepancies/availability, food/equipment safety, or other situations requiring attention
• Attend all meetings of the day

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
• Ability to work safely with large volume culinary equipment
• Basic knowledge of cooking and prep techniques
