About This Role

This role is responsible for overseeing kitchen and dining services in an assisted living community, ensuring safe food preparation and customer-service oriented meal delivery while supervising dietary aides.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall function of kitchen and dining room services on shift
• Supervise Dietary Aides
• Ensure food preparation and sanitation practices/policies are followed in a safe environment
• Ensure residents are prepared and served prescribed diets in a friendly, customer-service oriented manner
• Act in a professional manner and serve as a role model to other staff

Requirements

• At least eighteen (18) years of age
• Required annual Tuberculosis (TB) testing and Annual Health Assessment
• Awareness and application of sanitary food preparation standards
• Required references and criminal record check

Qualifications

• High school or GED preferred
• Two years experience in the food service industry preferred
