About This Role

This role is responsible for ensuring all food is prepared to the highest quality standards, overseeing the evening shift, and preparing meals for patients with various dietary needs, ensuring their nutritional requirements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Assure all foods are prepared at the highest level of quality
  • Supervise the evening shift or act in the absence of the supervisor
  • Ensure that the patient’s nutritional needs are met
  • Prepare meals for regular and modified patient diets as determined
  • Work under the direction and supervision of the Director of Food Service

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to read, write and understand recipes and written policies and procedures
  • At least two years food service experience
