About This Role

This Controller role leads financial accounting activities and ensures compliance for Maytronics' North America B2B Business Unit. This position is responsible for internal financial reporting, managing accounting operations, and supporting audits and compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare internal financial reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) on timely basis for B2B business unit
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISOX, and regulatory requirements
• Manage journal entries and general accounting and financial operations including monthly close
• Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Monitor and report on financial performance against Budget and prior year results
• Support balance sheet and cash flow forecasting
• Manage company accounts receivable
• Support external and internal audits
• Support ISOX compliance efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate and / or public accounting
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Strong bias for action and proven ability to meet commitments
• Problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability as “hands on” financial leader

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate and / or public accounting

• Advanced degree
• IFRS knowledge
