About This Role

Supervise a team of financial professionals and administrative staff in the activities of financial management for Laars Heating Systems and its subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s financial plans and policies
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare internal financial reports and assist in analyzing variances between actual results and budgeted and forecasted figures
• Maintain all fiscal records
• Determine manufacturing material costs and estimates
• Maintain relationships with financial institutions
• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the team performing Accounting and Payroll tasks
• Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure effective use of team resources and meeting work schedules and targets

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related major
• 10+ years of experience in fiscal management
• Experience in business consolidations
• Proficiency with cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (especially Excel)
• Operation in an ERP environment

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related major
• 10+ years of experience in fiscal management; Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a team

• Specific experience with Epicor Kinetic
