Operate a variety of road construction equipment, including loaders, bulldozers, and motor graders, for grading projects. This role includes on-the-job training and offers advancement opportunities within a seasonal work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate several types of road construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Understand grades from plans, slopes, and identify potential conflicts
- Listen and take direction from others
- Be a team player and help train less experienced employees
Requirements
- 1+ years experience operating road or excavating construction equipment OR technical school degree in Heavy Equipment Operation
- Ability to understand grades from plans, slopes, and identify potential conflicts
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions
Qualifications
- Technical school degree in Heavy Equipment Operation
- 1+ years in operating road or excavating construction equipment
