Operate and maintain a hot mix asphalt plant, focusing on electrical and mechanical components, to produce high-quality asphalt safely and efficiently. This includes diagnosing and repairing issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting team members.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain electrical components of a hot mix asphalt plant
- Repair and maintain mechanical components of a hot mix asphalt plant
- Operate the plant to produce hot mix asphalt
- Follow Company’s safety programs and policies to mitigate risk
- Listen and take direction from others
- Work as a team player and help train less experienced employees
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions
- Ability to listen and take direction from others
- Ability to be a team player
Nice to Have
- Mechanical experience
- Electrical experience
- Heavy Duty Mechanic/Fabricator experience
- Welding experience
- Electricians with control experience
