Compensation Manager

About This Role

This is a contract Compensation Manager role focused on executing compensation operations and projects, administering the Carta equity program, and supporting job architecture harmonization within a fast-moving environment. The role requires immediate contribution and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support merit, bonus, promotion, and off-cycle compensation processes, including validations, reporting, and documentation
• Help with the implementation and serve as primary administrator of the Carta platform
• Manage Carta grants, vesting, reporting, audits, and troubleshooting
• Partner with Legal and Finance to ensure smooth execution of equity programs
• Develop and document equity workflow and processes
• Support implementation and harmonization of job architecture
• Ensure leveling consistency and alignment to compensation structures
• Independently manage compensation-related projects end-to-end
• Identify process gaps and implement practical improvements
• Create clear documentation and sustainable processes
• Partner cross-functionally to move work forward quickly

Requirements

• 7+ years Compensation experience
• Experience with Carta administration
• Familiarity with Aon Radford Job architecture
• Experience supporting or implementing job architecture frameworks
• Software industry experience
• Advanced Excel

Qualifications

• 7+ years Compensation experience

• Workday compensation planning system experience
• Prior implementation/integration experience
• Global experience
• Strong project management skills
• Experience with complex multi-entity implementations, mergers, or acquisitions involving organizational consolidation
