Manage and grow commercial service accounts by selling HVAC service products and solutions, including service agreements, repairs, and modernizations. Build strong customer relationships and achieve sales targets while assessing immediate and future customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Sell the full portfolio of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (i.e. service agreements, repairs and modernizations)
- Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans where necessary
- Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities
- Promote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions
- Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline
- Seek out and access new service agreement opportunities both with existing customers and new prospect customers
- Respond to repair opportunities
- Establish and build credibility with knowledge of Carrier products/solutions
- Develop and sustain customer relationships
- Clearly articulate the value of Carrier’s value offerings and how they map to the customers’ needs
- Detect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly
- Effectively negotiate service agreement renewals when required
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ Years of Commercial HVAC Sales Experience
- Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders/stairs
- Comfortable working on roofs/platforms

Nice to Have
- Extremely comfortable operating in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
- Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to sell directly to end user customer
- Previous experience in selling service agreements
- Demonstrates ability to introduce others to cross sell and upsell within their base of customers
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to proactively sell preventative repair / upgrade packages
- Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
