Commercial HVAC Journeyman

About This Role

Install commercial HVAC equipment as an experienced Journeyman, contributing to a team that ensures industry-leading climate-control solutions for customers, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationally for HVAC equipment replacements and installations
• Work under the supervision of Crew Leaders as part of a 4-6 member team
• Perform commercial HVAC equipment replacements including rooftop units and adapter curbs
• Utilize HVAC electrical knowledge for installations
• Adhere to construction safety guidelines and OSHA requirements
• Acquire necessary state licenses to work on jobs
• Work overtime hours when required
• Work in outdoor elements (roofs) in varying weather conditions
• Become certified in Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP/Aerial Scissor Lift), Telehandler Forklift, and Crane Rigger/Signal Person within 90 days of employment
• Obtain OSHA 10 Certification within 90 days of employment

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in commercial HVAC equipment replacements
• Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines for construction industry
• Ability to pass journeyman testing in certain states as required
• Ability to acquire necessary state licenses
• Commercial HVAC equipment replacement experience including rooftop units, adapter curbs, HVAC electrical knowledge, and construction safety
• English language proficiency
• Driver's License

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years experience in commercial HVAC equipment replacement under a Master HVAC mechanic
