About This Role

Appraises vehicle damage to determine repair costs for customers and insurance companies, focusing on closing sales and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced body shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, insurance adjusters, and other visitors, and obtain customer information
• Inspect vehicle damage to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage
• Take detailed notes and photos to document damage for thorough estimates
• Import information into the estimating system to generate customer/insurance estimates
• Sell the repair job to customers
• Schedule repair appointments, provide estimated completion times, and arrange rental assistance if needed
• Provide ongoing updates to vehicle owners throughout the repair process
• Provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Proven background in estimating or collision repair
