The Sustainment Collective Trainer position at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, supports live and constructive Mission Command training. This role ensures Training Unit Commanders (TUCs) receive the latest doctrine and training scenarios, working to manipulate operational orders to meet unit needs and provide realistic training events.
Responsibilities
- Support live and constructive Mission Command training.
- Maintain currency with doctrine published by TRADOC.
- Provide TUCs with the latest training OPORDs and scenarios.
- Maintain DTT flexibility in team member composition for modular training support.
- Work with TUCs to manipulate OPORDs or scenarios for realistic training events.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Previous senior Army leadership experience with a training management background.
- Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support Officer with primary staff experience in the specific primary War Fighting Function at Battalion or higher.
- At least 6 years' combined staff experience within the specific Warfighting Function (or similar).
- Recent experience working within the ARNG training support system, or a similar system.
- 2 or more years working with Warfighting Functional Area Army MCIS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 6 years' combined staff experience within a specific Warfighting Function, or 8 years' specialized MCTSP experience in this duty position.
Nice to Have
- CTC experience.
- Previous Battalion or higher commander (or similar).
