About This Role

Assist with basic patient care activities and procedures under the supervision of an RN, focusing on personal care, daily living activities, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic patient care activities
• Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff
• Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly
• Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective action as appropriate
• Assist in providing care appropriate to a specific population by facilitating time and individualized care of assigned patients

Requirements

• Nurse Aide licensure obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

Nice to Have

• BLS Provider certification
