About This Role

Provide direct patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, or registered nurse, while adhering to established clinical guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse.
  • Adhere to established guidelines and standards in patient care.
  • Contribute to exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program (or 1 year medical assistant/clinical experience)
  • BLS certification
  • CMA or equivalent certification

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program is required. In lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required.
  • No experience is required with completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program. In lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required.
