Club Service Attendant

About This Role

Perform and oversee the servicing, repair, and maintenance operations for all building and equipment related to the Crunch Fitness club. This role ensures the club is maintained to corporate standards and provides guidance to janitorial and club staff.

Responsibilities

• Execute club inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and preventative measures are performed
• Provide feedback to General Managers regarding maintenance deficiencies
• Schedule all services and tasks with the General Manager
• Attend New Club walk-throughs to address facility maintenance needs
• Review inspection results to identify training opportunities and trends
• Train new Club Managers on approved Facility Training Programs
• Provide general direction and technical expertise to janitorial and club team members
• Schedule weekly activities for servicing club equipment and systems
• Perform hands-on training for club janitorial partners on chemical and safety procedures
• Oversee and manage special projects, ensuring appropriate scopes of work and vendor quotes
• Manage and review Work Orders in the Open Wrench System
• Execute monthly club audits utilizing GO CANVAS

Requirements

• Knowledge of janitorial servicing and maintenance
• Strong interpersonal, motivational, communication, organizational, and training skills
• Problem-solving abilities and guidance provision to club team members
• Organizational skills for a multi-task environment
• High level of professionalism, honesty, integrity, and excellent work ethic
• Diligence and strong understanding of liability issues, general safety, and personal/public injury related to duties
• Ability to use CMMS Open Wrench Application, web-based applications, and the internet
• Ability to use and service hand tools, power tools, and ladders
• Minimum of 1 year previous operations/maintenance experience
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in janitorial maintenance

Qualifications

• GED or High School
• Minimum of 1-year previous operations/maintenance experience or janitorial maintenance experience

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in facilities maintenance in a health club or retail environment
• General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical equipment
• General knowledge of maintenance and understanding of proper chemical use
