Club Service Attendant

About This Role

The Club Service Attendant is responsible for performing and overseeing the servicing, repair, and maintenance operations of the club's building and equipment. This role ensures facilities are maintained to corporate standards and supports the janitorial and club staff in maintenance protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute club inspections to ensure maintenance standards and preventative measures are met
• Provide feedback and address maintenance deficiencies with General Managers (GM)
• Schedule services and tasks with the GM as requested by Area Maintenance Technicians (AMT)
• Partner with AMT and New Club Development (NCD) for new club walk-throughs
• Train new Club Managers on approved Facility Training Programs
• Provide technical expertise and direction to janitorial and club team members
• Schedule weekly activities for servicing club equipment and systems
• Perform hands-on training for club janitorial partners on chemical and safety protocols
• Oversee all special projects, including scheduling vendors and ensuring project completion
• Review and manage Work Orders in the Open Wrench System

Requirements

• Knowledge of janitorial servicing and maintenance
• Strong interpersonal, motivational, communication, organizational, and training skills
• Problem-solver, able to guide club team members
• Organized and able to handle multi-task environment
• High level of professionalism, honesty, integrity, and excellent work ethic
• Diligence and strong understanding of liability issues, general safety
• Ability to use CMMS Open Wrench Application and web-based applications
• Ability to use and service hand tools, power tools, and ladders

Qualifications

• GED or High School
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in facilities / janitorial maintenance

Nice to Have

• General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical equipment
• General knowledge of maintenance and understanding of proper chemical use
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance in a health club or retail environment
