About This Role

Perform daily patient care duties including activities of daily living, data collection, and non-sterile treatments under the direct supervision of an RN or Patient Care Manager. Provide patient and family-centered care, demonstrating exemplary customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily patient care activities including activities of daily living and comfort measures
• Perform complete or partial bath
• Obtain weights, temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure measurements, including orthostatic parameters
• Apply cold compresses
• Perform phlebotomy (depending upon area of assignment)
• Demonstrate respect for the other person in all interactions
• Attend all mandatory inservices
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by Patient care manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a CNA or complete certification prior to completion of orientation OR has completed one clinical nursing school rotation and currently enrolled in a nursing program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year patient care experience (EKG, Phlebotomy, Nurse Aide, Nurse Technician) preferred.
