This Clinical Specialist role at Easterseals PORT Health provides clinical and administrative support to the REACH Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home, focusing on assessments, crisis prevention, and intervention for youth with mental health challenges and intellectual/developmental disabilities. This position ensures a safe, therapeutic environment and helps maintain the clinical integrity of daily programming.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and reassessments within the REACH Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home (YCTH)
- Deliver crisis prevention and intervention services to youth
- Support Behavior Technicians on the floor
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for up to six youth
- Assist the YCTH Supervisor in developing and maintaining clinical and therapeutic integrity to daily programming
- Modify therapeutic groups and develop therapeutic activities
- Provide virtual oversight of assessments to leadership as needed
- Provide QMHP-T supervision to Behavior Techs
- Participate in the residential on-call rotation
Requirements
- Master’s degree in health, psychology or social work
- Licensed or license-eligible as a LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Good driving record
- Current auto insurance
- Proficiency with EHR systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
Qualifications
- Master’s in health, psychology or social work from USDOE or CHEA accredited institution
- 3 years of experience with developmental disabilities and mental health populations preferred
Nice to Have
- 3 years of experience with developmental disabilities and mental health populations
- Experience with crisis prevention and intervention services
