About This Role

The Clinical Social Worker is a vital member of a multidisciplinary treatment team in a fast-paced psychiatric emergency service environment. This role involves completing psychiatric assessments, providing crisis counseling, and implementing treatment plans for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Complete psychiatric assessments
  • Provide crisis counseling
  • Implement treatment planning for patients in the PES
  • Identify appropriate resources
  • Obtain collateral information from patients’ supports including family members, friends and outpatient providers

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Social Work
  • Current MA licensure as a LCSW or LICSW

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Social Work
  • Minimum of two years post-masters degree experience with acute psychiatric population strongly preferred

Nice to Have

  • Minimum of two years post masters degree experience with acute psychiatric population

Certifications

Credentialed by the CHA Medical Staff for practice in relevant clinical practice areas (Required)
