The Clinical Social Worker is a vital member of a multidisciplinary treatment team in a fast-paced psychiatric emergency service environment. This role involves completing psychiatric assessments, providing crisis counseling, and implementing treatment plans for patients.
Responsibilities
- Complete psychiatric assessments
- Provide crisis counseling
- Implement treatment planning for patients in the PES
- Identify appropriate resources
- Obtain collateral information from patients’ supports including family members, friends and outpatient providers
Requirements
- Masters degree in Social Work
- Current MA licensure as a LCSW or LICSW
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Social Work
- Minimum of two years post-masters degree experience with acute psychiatric population strongly preferred
Nice to Have
- Minimum of two years post masters degree experience with acute psychiatric population
