Provide intensive and strength-based therapeutic mental health services to children, youth, and families in the community. This role involves assessing needs, developing treatment plans, and facilitating crisis response to strengthen family unity.
Responsibilities
- Provide intensive and strength-based therapeutic mental health services and supports to children, youth and families in the community
- Assess for immediate safety and stabilization needs and develop treatment plans
- Facilitate child and family team meetings and conduct ongoing assessment of treatment strategies
- Engage families with compassion, support, and respect
- Provide and/or arrange necessary crisis response and stabilization services
- Customize helping approaches to fit the family’s uniqueness, personality, culture and interest
- Consult with clinical supervisor and mental health specialists for recommendations
- Meet productivity and documentation standards using collaborative problem-solving strategies
- Provide and/or facilitate a range of therapeutic responses including individual and family therapies
- Arrange and negotiate a process for ongoing formal and informal services and supports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences or equivalent
- 21 years or older
- Ability to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences or equivalent
- Experience serving children and/or families (e.g. mental health, social services, education), preferred
Nice to Have

- Preference for a flexible schedule
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation responsibilities
