Serve as a full-time clinical-track faculty member in Ambulatory Psychiatry, providing high-quality clinical care and education for adult patients, with an emphasis on mood and anxiety disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care for adults in Ambulatory Psychiatry, focusing on mood and anxiety disorders based on skill and interest
- Share in teaching responsibilities for medical learners including medical students, house officers, and clinical fellows
- Participate in or lead quality improvement and research efforts
- Provide mentorship, didactic teaching, and engage in patient care activities with learners in related disciplines (social work, psychology, pharmacy)
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Hold or be eligible for Michigan medical and pharmacy licenses
- Evidence of clinical competence
- Competence in clinical and didactic teaching
