About This Role

Serve as a full-time clinical-track faculty member in Ambulatory Psychiatry, providing high-quality clinical care and education for adult patients, with an emphasis on mood and anxiety disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care for adults in Ambulatory Psychiatry, focusing on mood and anxiety disorders based on skill and interest
  • Share in teaching responsibilities for medical learners including medical students, house officers, and clinical fellows
  • Participate in or lead quality improvement and research efforts
  • Provide mentorship, didactic teaching, and engage in patient care activities with learners in related disciplines (social work, psychology, pharmacy)

Requirements

  • M.D. or equivalent degree
  • Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Hold or be eligible for Michigan medical and pharmacy licenses
  • Evidence of clinical competence
  • Competence in clinical and didactic teaching

Qualifications

  • M.D. or equivalent degree

Certifications

American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certification (Required)
