The Clinical Pharmacist Operations provides pharmaceutical care to hospital patients, including medication oversight, preparation, dispensing, and documentation. This role ensures compliance with regulations and coordinates pharmacy services within a healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care services to all patients of the hospital
- Oversee, monitor, prepare, dispense, and properly document patient medication therapy
- Provide drug information and oversight over information and dispensing systems
- Work with the pharmacy team to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations
- Ensure proper storage and documentation of pharmaceuticals
- Process medication orders for age-appropriate and disease-appropriate medication therapy
- Supervise the work of pharmacy technicians to ensure the delivery of high quality pharmaceutical services
- Provide medication information to other health care team members
- Act as an interface between pharmacy and its customers to coordinate the delivery of Pharmacy services
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
- 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

- 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
