About This Role

Join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Michigan Medicine as a Clinical Instructor/Professor to provide high-acuity, high-volume care for pediatric and adult congenital heart patients, while contributing to teaching and potentially research.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care in Pediatric Cardiology, specializing in areas such as heart failure/transplant, non-invasive imaging, electrophysiology, interventional cardiac catheterization, and/or pediatric cardiac intensive care
  • Work independently demonstrating excellent clinical skills and knowledge
  • Possibly engage in research activities and demonstrate productivity
  • Participate in teaching within the center

Requirements

  • M.D./D.O. degree or UMHS approved international equivalent
  • Postgraduate clinical training
  • Board eligible/board certified in Pediatrics/Pediatric Cardiology
  • Experience in Pediatric Cardiology
  • Ability to obtain appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge base to work independently

Qualifications

  • M.D./D.O. degree or UMHS approved international equivalent

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated research experience and productivity

Certifications

Board eligible/board certified in Pediatrics/Pediatric Cardiology (Required)
