Clinical Dietitian

About This Role

This role is for a Clinical Dietitian to manage the nutritional well-being of patients and residents, conducting assessments, creating diet plans, and providing nutrition education.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the overall nutritional well-being of patients and residents
• Conduct nutrition assessments
• Identify residents at nutrition risk
• Perform resident rounds
• Create diet plans
• Monitor the effectiveness of interventions
• Provide nutrition education to patients/residents, families and personnel
• Work alongside the medical staff and interdisciplinary team to determine the plan of care

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in human Nutrition and Dietetics
• Registration Eligible

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in human Nutrition and Dietetics
• One year acute care experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• One year acute care experience
• Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist in NYS
