Clinical Dietitian

About This Role

Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in inpatient units and occasionally support outpatient oncology. Organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units
• Support outpatient oncology by providing occasional coverage, as assigned
• Work every 4th Saturday and rotating holidays providing hospital-wide coverage
• Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process
• Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential and licensure in ME
• Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills
• Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
• Strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care

Qualifications

• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) OR Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24
