About This Role

Provide nutritional care and education for outpatient clients, perform quality improvement initiatives, and occasionally provide clinical coverage at Hugh Chatman Hospital. This role involves working with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for outpatient clients
• Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
• Educate patients on nutritional needs and care
• Provide occasional clinical coverage

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentials
• Licensed in North Carolina
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Self-starter and team player
• Ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff

Qualifications

• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
