Lead the Food and Nutrition Services Department at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, overseeing operations, staff, financial targets, and client relationships while ensuring high-quality food service and compliance with Sodexo Standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage salaried management and front-line staff
- Oversee cash handling processes
- Direct department HACCP and safety programs for regulatory compliance
- Implement front-line training programs
- Supervise opening and closing the operation and day-to-day activities
- Deliver high quality food service
- Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
- Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
- Develop strategic plans
- Create a positive environment
- Ensure Sodexo Standards are met
Requirements
- Proven client relationship skills
- Strong leadership skills and previous supervisory experience
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Culinary production experience
- Strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional communication skills
- Passion for a high level of customer service
- Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility
- Working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC)
- Proficiency in computer skills and report management experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of management experience and 5 years of functional experience
