About This Role

Coordinate clinical education with didactic education for the Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Program, including clinical onboarding, evaluation, and student counseling. This role also involves participation in college activities like recruitment and retention for NMT students.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate clinical education with didactic education as assigned by program director
  • Perform clinical onboarding and evaluate clinical effectiveness through regular site visits
  • Maintain current licensures and certifications (CNMT or ARRT(N), NJDEP)
  • Conduct on-site visits to clinical affiliates for evaluation of student performance and documentation of deficiencies
  • Council and evaluate students in all aspects of clinical experience
  • Evaluate areas of potential NMT Program growth of clinical affiliates in collaboration with the Program Director
  • Assist Program Director with the application, approval process, and onboarding of new clinical affiliates
  • Maintain and update clinical course syllabi and course related materials to reflect current industry standards
  • Participate in the assessment, implementation, evaluation, and process improvement of the NMT program
  • Schedule Spring and Fall clinical advisory meetings and distribute minutes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program
  • Certified nuclear medicine technologist (CNMT or ARRT(N), NJDEP)
  • Knowledgeable of current nuclear medicine technology
  • Minimum of two (2) years post certification experience in nuclear medicine technology
  • Demonstrated leadership and teaching experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with variable hours, including evenings and possible weekends
  • Ability to travel for College, accreditation, and clinical needs
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years post certification experience in nuclear medicine technology

Nice to Have

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

Certified nuclear medicine technologist by a nationally recognized certifying body (Required)
