About This Role

Lead and manage the daily operations of a clinic, ensuring high-quality, efficient patient care and compliance with regulations. This role involves supervising staff, managing fiscal aspects, and serving as a liaison between the clinic and external agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems for assigned clinical areas
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical plans
  • Select, train, orient, and supervise departmental personnel, responsible for work assignments and daily operations
  • Evaluate performance and recommend merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions
  • Resolve problems in clinical areas and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Assist fiscal management and administrative staff in developing/implementing cost-effective policies and procedures
  • Monitor and control clinical expenditures to remain within budget
  • Serve as a liaison between the clinic and external agencies
  • Work with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with healthcare trends and practices
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a medical office, acute care, or clinical outpatient setting
  • Minimum of one-year previous supervisory experience in a medical office, acute care or outpatient setting

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants, and course-work in health care office management are preferred.
