Clinic Manager

About This Role

Oversee the day-to-day operations of an outpatient oncology program, ensuring efficient financial management, staffing, and compliance with regulatory agencies. This role includes managing nursing, business office, and medical staff relations, and supporting the mission and values of Avera.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day operations of the clinic, including financial and expense management
• Collect data, prepare reports, analyze statistics, and resolve operational problems or escalate to leadership
• Assist leadership with budget preparation, implementation, and monitoring, and recommend facility improvements
• Ensure clinic operates in support of organizational mission, values, and philosophies
• Ensure clinic compliance with regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and accrediting bodies
• Maintain open and professional communication with providers regarding clinic issues
• Coordinate with leadership on monitoring medical activities for cost-effectiveness and high-quality patient care, and ensure proper credentialing and licensure
• Administer staffing plans to ensure efficient and cost-effective clinic operations
• Resolve medical-administrative problems and foster high employee morale and a professional clinic atmosphere
• Interview, hire, develop, train, retain, assign, lead, appraise, reward, coach, and resolve problems for employees

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
