This Client Executive role drives strategic growth by delivering high-value solutions and services, focusing on generating product gross profit and expanding services revenue within a defined portfolio. The role requires a highly technical professional with a consultative selling approach to manage large-scale programs and serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, promoting products and services for AI-driven transformations.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize strategic accounts and opportunities by evaluating customer relationships, competitive advantages, overall potential, and balancing short-term gains with long-term impact
- Develop long-term account strategies by establishing objectives, measurable goals, contingency plans, and aligning stakeholder values to expand opportunities
- Conduct time-constrained discovery and needs assessments to identify unique requirements, uncover opportunities, communicate the importance of discovery, and actively listen to stakeholder input
- Lead initial negotiations by developing options, establishing credibility, setting the tone, asking questions to validate interests, including multiple variables, and identifying relevant stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
- Create compelling narratives for customers by defining the reason for the story, structuring narratives, balancing information flow, and adapting presentations to effectively engage audiences
- Facilitate discussions to raise awareness of unidentified needs by carefully timing conversations, applying suitable techniques, demonstrating relevance, and connecting discussions to tangible business outcomes
- Engage with executives by maximizing their time, focusing on results and opportunities, tailoring approaches to their interests, and positioning as a trusted partner and advisor
- Increase awareness of CDW's value proposition and total portfolio across assigned accounts
- Consistently deliver specific Advanced Technology product gross profit and service revenue attainment
- Market and sell the entire portfolio of CDW core products and solutions with the inside Account Manager sales force
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, STEM related fields or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing business strategy and execution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data modeling and forecasting
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth understanding of key technologies, including but not limited to Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, EMC, and HP, as well as competitive equivalents
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven sales expertise, with a demonstrated ability to meet targets and inspire enthusiasm in the sales process
- Strong strategic planning, time management, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail
Qualifications
