About This Role

Perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services to maintain cleanliness and order within buildings, ensuring established standards and procedures are met.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other interior surfaces
• Use light and heavy floor buffers and shampoo machines
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas, including daily spot cleaning and periodic shampooing
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all horizontal surfaces, including high dusting
• Wash windowsills, interior glass in doors and partitions, and specified windows
• Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior and spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily
• Clean bathrooms daily, restocking paper supplies and performing standard damp wiping, emptying waste baskets, servicing dispensers, dusting sills, cleaning walls, shelves, and partitions, and sweeping/mopping/scrubbing floors
• Monitor for defects like clogged urinals and lights out, reporting to supervisors
• Collect building trash daily, placing it in approved containers for removal
• Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers per specifications
• Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways at building entrances and connecting walkways/sidewalks
• Perform periodic work such as high dusting, leather and wood surface polishing, and wall washing

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience
