Claims Adjuster Senior - Litigation

About This Role

As a senior claims specialist, you will investigate and resolve complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases and those with litigation features. You will consult with various parties to determine coverage, liability, and claim value, contributing to the efficient resolution of claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants, and others involved in accidents
• Determine coverage, liability, and total value of claims
• Direct the use of discovery tools such as interrogatories, depositions, and production of documents

Requirements

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree or null
• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

• Strong negotiation and customer service skills
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills along with ability to multi-task and prioritize
