Children's Soccer Coach

About This Role

Lead children in fun and educational soccer activities while ensuring safety. This role involves teaching life skills through sports and promoting healthy habits in young athletes.

Responsibilities

• Lead children in fun and educational activities
• Ensure safety for all participants
• Use individual attention to ensure every child has success
• Maintain a non-competitive, fun, and stress-free class environment
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate success
• Attend regular trainings and follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual
• Teach classes in an organized, structured, fun manner
• Maintain energy and enthusiasm throughout every class
• Maintain class rosters
• Build and maintain strong relationships with directors, teachers, parents, and children

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Available to start the end of March/beginning of April
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a clean, valid driver's license
• Must pass both state and FBI background checks (Includes DUI/DWI)
• Offer a 12 month commitment with the company
• Attendance and Punctuality are paramount
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working with children
• Understand responsibilities while in charge of children
• Passion for sports/fitness

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader) preferred

Nice to Have

• Prior experience working with children aged 2.5 - 6 (Teacher, substitute teacher, camp counselor)
• Background in fitness (athletics, sports, dance, martial arts, gymnastics etc)
• CPR and First Aid Certification
