About This Role

Join Senior Helpers of North Hudson as a Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide compassionate care and support to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and enjoy life in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and meaningful conversation to clients
• Support daily living activities like bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene
• Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers
• Provide medication reminders (no administration)
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands (public transportation is fine)
• Communicate client updates with the care team

Requirements

• Active NJ CHHA license
• Current TB test
• High school diploma or GED
• Cleared background check
• Reliable transportation (car not required)
• Genuine love for seniors, reliability, and a caring spirit
