Join Senior Helpers of North Hudson as a Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide compassionate care and support to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and enjoy life in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and meaningful conversation to clients
- Support daily living activities like bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene
- Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers
- Provide medication reminders (no administration)
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands (public transportation is fine)
- Communicate client updates with the care team
Requirements
- Active NJ CHHA license
- Current TB test
- High school diploma or GED
- Cleared background check
- Reliable transportation (car not required)
- Genuine love for seniors, reliability, and a caring spirit
