About This Role

Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients across the lifespan and manages operational issues during their shift. Provides clinical care as needed and communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle
• Manage operational issues during shifts
• Provide clinical care as needed based on census demands
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to appropriate leaders
• Serve as a resource for guidance and assistance to staff

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program
• One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Current Georgia RN License or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BLS certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program
• One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required, two or more years preferred.

Nice to Have

• Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Bachelor's degree
• Advanced certification in a field of specialty
