About This Role

This role is for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Bishop Spencer Place, a premier non-profit Life Care retirement community. The CNA will provide patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN, focusing on activities of daily living and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN
Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks
Provide assistance with activities of daily living and care such as bathing, hygiene, elimination, toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, and positioning
Anticipate the patient’s family needs in a proactive fashion
Individualize and modify care according to the patient’s needs
Collaborate with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care
Support patient safety and satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds on the nursing unit and effectively communicating with all team members

Requirements

Less than 1 year applicable experience
CNA in State of Missouri required
Basic Life Support

Qualifications

Less than 1 year of applicable experience

Certifications

Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross) (Required) Cert Nurse Assistant - Various (Required)
