Baptist Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This role involves assisting Registered Nurses in caring for pediatric patients with various diagnoses, including childhood cancer, sickle cell, and trauma.
Responsibilities
- Assist RNs in the care of pediatric patients
- Perform blood glucose checks and urine dips for chemotherapy patients
- Assist with patient activities of daily living
- Maintain a safe environment for patients
- Collect lab specimens
- Monitor intake and output
- Document in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
