Certified Nursing Assistant

About This Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. This role performs patient care activities within the limits of the position and does not administer medications or therapy. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with PAM Health policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
• Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position
• Adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
