About This Role

This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role involves performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The individual will work within the limits of the position, focusing on consistent adherence to PAM Health policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform various patient care activities
Provide accommodative services to patients
Operate under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
Perform patient care activities within the limits of the CNA position

Requirements

Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state
Current BLS certification

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
None required; 2-3 years in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.

Nice to Have

High school graduate or equivalent
Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit

Certifications

BLS certification (Required) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Required)
