About This Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, upholding PAM Health policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform various patient care activities
Provide accommodative services to patients
Operate within the limits of the Certified Nursing Assistant position
Execute job duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state
Current BLS certification

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
None required; 2-3 years in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred

Nice to Have

High school graduate or equivalent
Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
