Responsibilities

• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents in the nursing home
• Assist residents with grooming, quality of life, and self-care
• Assist nursing staff with resident care
• Chart accurately and maintain records in a timely manner

Requirements

• Current and valid nursing assistant certification in the State of Illinois
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions
• Ability to communicate and work well with residents and staff members

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in skilled nursing
