Certified Nursing Assistant

About This Role

This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and other needs as a Certified Nursing Assistant. The position requires attention to patient care records and collaboration with charge nurses in a caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADL’s as needed during shift
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed
• Complete patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) listed in the DFS registry
• Willingness to care for geriatric patients and genuine concern for their welfare
• Willingness to receive, understand, and follow orders
