Certified Nursing Assistant

About This Role

Provide direct daily care to residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings, ensuring their basic personal care needs are met and contributing to their quality of life. This role also involves assisting with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the nurse manager and take direction from licensed nurses or supervisory staff
• Provide direct daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, and feeding
• Assist with transportation and transfers for residents
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, providing light housekeeping and changing linens
• Assist with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away
• Notify supervisor of clothing needs as they occur
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving and feeding
• May be cross-trained in Assisted Living

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry
