Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About This Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists residents with personal cares at Lakeland Health Care Center under the supervision of an RN or LPN, following individualized care plans. This role focuses on providing compassionate support for daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-focused compassionate support with activities of daily living
• Assist in personal cares of residents based on the interdisciplinary plan of care
• Respond to requests and initiate contacts to exchange basic information with others

Requirements

• Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification
• On State Registry for Nursing Attendants
• Criminal background check free of convictions of abuse
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic arithmetic skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent competencies obtained or in progress
• Zero to six months of relevant prior experience. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic arithmetic skills is required.
