The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, adhering to PAM Health policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform various patient care activities
- Perform accommodative services under supervision
- Do not administer medications or therapy
- Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care
- Perform duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures and guidelines
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- None required, 2-3 years experience in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred
Nice to Have
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
