Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About This Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, adhering to PAM Health policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform various patient care activities
• Perform accommodative services under supervision
• Do not administer medications or therapy
• Do not assume independent responsibility for patient care
• Perform duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures and guidelines
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• None required, 2-3 years experience in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred

Nice to Have

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
