About This Role

This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role will provide high-quality care to residents by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health changes, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The position requires compassion and patience to enhance the quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
• Help residents with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding resident needs and changes

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program
• No finding in the State Nurse Assistant Registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property

Qualifications

• Entry level with successful completion of state-approved Nursing Assistant training

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
