This Certified Nursing Assistant position provides comprehensive patient care in a Life-Plan community setting, including assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment and supporting patients across various age groups while working cooperatively with medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties necessary to provide the best in patient care, not requiring service and judgment of a registered or licensed nurse
- Provide and maintain a clean, safe and quiet environment in support of patient comfort and contentment
- Promote the practice of family-centered care
- Provide supportive care to patients in all units with adequate supervision and cross training
- Participate in performance improvement activities
- Work cooperatively with medical staff and other hospital staff to support the care of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completed acceptable training school course or equivalent
- Current Georgia CNA certification
- BCLS certified
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute and completed course of instruction from acceptable training school or equivalent training, which prepares the employee to meet the designated requirements
- One year of experience preferred
