Certified Nursing Assistant

About This Role

Provide direct and daily non-professional nursing care and rehabilitation services to patients/residents in a hospital or long-term care setting, working under the supervision of licensed professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform nonprofessional nursing services in the direct and daily care and rehabilitation of ambulatory and nonambulatory patients/residents
• Maintain patient/resident quarters
• Assist and encourage patients/residents to participate in prescribed rehabilitative and recreational activities
• Participate in job training, in-service, and formal training in nursing care procedures to update and maintain expertise

Requirements

• Six (6) months of experience as an Aide Trainee or one year of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients/residents
• High school graduation or equivalent
• Registered and certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as having met the competency requirements for performing nurse aide work
• Basic Computer Skills to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Products

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent
• Six (6) months of experience as an Aide Trainee or one year of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients/residents
